Data Engineer

SIS is a Microsoft Solution Partner. We are a leading solutions provider of Microsoft ERP solutions for the Enterprise Construction market. SIS has immediate openings for a Senior Data Engineer on a contract basis.

Summary of responsibilities: Join our team as a Data Engineer responsible for data extracting, transforming, and preparing for data migration of legacy client data into D365 FO and CE. You will be responsible for a variety of data processing and data storage tasks (ETL and ELT pipelines, Data Migration, Software Integration and Synchronization, Databases, DWH, and Data Lakes).

Requirements:

• A degree in data analytics, computer science, economics, or finance.
• 5 + years of experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Comfortable working with external clients
• Experience working with Dynamics D365 Data
• Knowledge of Microsoft Stack, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps
• Knowledge of DataBricks with Python and SQL languages
• Experience in estimating the level of effort for data solutions
• experience translating business requirements into technical requirements that can be directly actioned by Data engineers
• Data modeling and database design experience
• Interpersonal skills suited to dealing courteously and professionally with cross-functional stakeholders
• English from Upper-Intermediate to Expert
